Dating from circa 1955 here is a Midwinter lidded vegetable dish in the Stylecraft/Fashion 'Nature Study' design which was designed by the legendary Terence Conran of Habitat and Heals fame. It's an incredibly decorative item both in terms of shape and design and looks fabulous on display - these are highly collectable items and becoming rather difficult to come by. Fully marked to the base with 'STYLECRAFT FASHION TABLEWARE BY MIDWINTER, Staffordshire ENGLAND. Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups. Dating from 1960 here is an absolutely gorgeous Midwinter coffee pot in the Stylecraft 'Cassandra' pattern in the Fashion shape. It's an incredibly decorative item both in terms of shape and design and looks fabulous on display - these are highly collectable items and in this pristine mint condition very difficult to come by. We also have matching 'Cassandra' cups and saucers for sale separately which will be listed shortly. Fully marked to the base with 'Midwinter Stylecraft, Staffordshire England, Fashion Shape 10-60' (the '60' denotes the year of production, 1960 in this instance although the pattern was in production from the mid 1950's). Ironstone Broadhurst Staffordshire (England) 'Rushstone' Trio by Kathie Winkle |

What a funky gift these would make for any lover of Kathie Winkle designed ceramics - a fine ironstone tea trio (teacup, saucer and teaplate) made by Broadhurst (Staffordshire). In a fab retro geometric pattern called 'Rushstone' in brown, black, yellow on a white ground I can think of no groovier way to enjoy a cup of tea and a biscuit! The plates and saucers are fully marked to the base with 'Ironstone, Broadhurst, Staffordshire, England, Handpainted Underglaze Colour is Detergent and Dishwasher Proof, RUSHSTONE', the plates additionally having 'A Kathie Winkle Design'. 1960's/70's Staffordshire Potteries Ltd 'Weston' Dinner Plate by Elayne Fallon |

Dating from the 1960's or thereabouts here is a groovy ironstone dinner plate from the Staffordshire Potteries and decorated in the 'Weston' pattern designed by Elayne Fallon consisting of purple, turquoise, green and light blue daisy/Mary Quant type flowers. The pattern extends around the rim of the plate and is very flower-power in inspiration - a really lovely item so indicative of the period in which it was manufactured that looks amazing on display but is robust enough to be used for it's original purpose. Fully marked to the base with 'Staffordshire Potteries Ltd, WESTON, designed by Elayne Fallon IRONSTONE Made in England'. (We have five of these for sale individually). CONDITION: Lovely original condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines - there is crazing to the central plain section of the plate and on the reverse there are unglazed marks where the plate would have sat in the kiln during firing (original to manufacture).
