1960s 'Carnaby' Bone China Teacup & Saucer Duo by Elizabethan Pottery This is from Midwinter/Staffordshire/Ironstone
Dating from the late 1960s or thereabouts here is a bone china tea duo (consisting of a tea cup and matching saucer) in the glorious flower-power 'Carnaby' design from Elizabethan - a very decorative and funky design onto a bright white ground. The cup and saucer have different base stamps however, my experience of pottery from Elizabethan shows that this is nothing unusual. I rarely find sets with matching backstamps.
You'd be hard pressed to find anything much more iconic and representative of the era.
CONDITION: Great original undamaged condition.

1950s Villeroy & Boch (Luxembourg) Handled Dish (Lilac Design) This is from Other Retro Ceramics

Dating from the late 1950s or thereabouts here is a fabulous handled dish (to be used for nibbles or bon-bons I suspect - I'm fairly certain it's not a candleholder because there's no recess and the decoration would be obscured by the candle). I think these dishes are fabulous - we originally had five available in different colours for sale individually - this one has a pretty lilac and black design. Impressed to the base with 'Villeroy & Boch Made in Luxembourg' however the impression has been infilled with glaze and is virtually impossible to read on this particular dish but is much clearer on some of the other dishes.
SIZE: Diameter plus handle 5.5in/13.5cm
CONDITION: Great original condition - no chips, cracks or hairlines.
