Dating from 1964 here is a fab Sklo Union vase in a brick shape known as a jardiniere and from the Lens range designed by Frantisek Vizner. This is an impressive piece of glass, extremely heavy and in a modernist design of raised frosted lozenges to the surface - it looks brilliant on display with other retro glass. Here is a very attractive clear glass vase from the Sklo Union glassworks, Czechoslovakia, more specifically by Frantisek Peceny for Hermanova Hut and dating from the late 1960s. Known as the 'candlewax' design it is moulded with a pattern of small knobbles and is a very decorative piece of retro glass. It has the typical Sklo Union glass footed 'birdbath' base. Designed by Rudolf Schrotter in 1955 for Rosice (part of the Sklo Union glassworks) from a vibrant shade of amber glass and in what's known as a bullet shape. This is a lovely item that looks very much at home with the later modernist inspired pieces coming out of Czechoslovakia during the 1960s and displays well. Has the expected footed 'birdbath' base. This is an extremely decorative green glass bowl designed in 1964 by Rudolf Jurnikl for the Rudolfova Hut Glassworks, part of the Sklo Union, pattern number 13250/150 (it matches the clear glass hobnail jardiniere listed below). With the hobnail design to the centre it's an extremely decorative piece of retro glass and has the typical Sklo Union welled-base feature. Still bearing it's original gold foil 'Bohemia Glass - Made in Czechoslovakia' label to the centre of the bowl. CONDITION: Excellent undamaged condition with no chips, cracks or fleabites. This is a clear glass dish designed by Frantisek Vizner in 1965 for the Hermanova/Sklo Union Glassworks (Czech). Decorated with a fab raised modernist design to the surface, this is a heavy and impressive piece of retro glass. It has the typical Czech 'birdbath' footed base and is a very nice decorative piece of pressed glass. This is a brilliant large bowl from the Sklo Union glassworks, Czechoslovakia, and dating from the 1960's. This is an impressive and heavy piece of retro glass (the sides are over half an inch thick) and moulded all over with a modernist type repeating pattern of bumps/nipples, including the underside. It has the typical Sklo Union glass footed 'birdbath' base - a brilliant piece of glass that displays beautifully! Yet another amazing clear glass vase from Czechoslovakia, this time dating from the 1950s and by Slovenske Sklarny/Nemsova glassworks possibly designed by Karel Holosko, this vase was also in production at Rosice from 1965. Extremely thick and heavy, moulded all over with a repeating geometric pattern and with an unusual shaped edge to the rim. It's absolutely brilliant!
