Designed in 1957 for Orrefors by the respected and collectable designer, Sven Palmqvist, and the technique he pioneered using centrifugal force still in production today - here is a beautiful vibrant blue crystal 'Fuga' tumbler vase.  This range, which came in various sizes, shapes and colours, was in production from 1954 until 1983 and won the Grand Prix at the Milan Trienalle in 1957.  Fully marked to the base (see photograph) with 'Fuga Orrefors' this is a beautiful quality piece of retro glass that looks fantastic on display.  Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.

This is a really funky large 1970s glass vase designed by Bo Borgstrom for Aseda Glasbruk (Sweden) in a fabulously vibrant blue coloured glass with a thick casing of clear to the square base, rising up through a long slender neck to a flower shaped flared rim at the top.  A nice tall and impressive piece, it looks superb on display especially with other glass from the same period.  Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.

Designed by Rudolf Schrotter in 1955 for Rosice (part of the Sklo Union glassworks) from a vibrant shade of blue glass and in what's known as a bullet shape.  This is a lovely item that looks very much at home with the later modernist inspired pieces coming out of Czechoslovakia during the 1960's and displays well.  Has the expected footed 'birdbath' base.  Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.

Here is a fabulous Whitefriars bark vase designed by Geoffrey Baxter and dating from 1967, pattern number 9690 - this is the medium size.  In the vibrant and iconic Tangerine colourway (one of our favourite Whitefriars colours) and thickly encased in clear glass this has wonderful crisp definition which means that it was one of the early vases produced whilst the moulds were still highly defined.  This is a very collectable piece of retro glass that looks amazing on display.  With the usual Whitefriars ground down pontil to the base.  Please see all photographs for further viewpoints and close-ups.

Designed in 1951 by Arthur Percy for the Swedish glassmaker, Gullaskruf, and in production until 1965 here is a bottle vase in a bright red glass.  These came in a number of different colours and sizes - this one is the smallest in the range at 9.75in/24.5cm.  With a bulbous base and an attenuated flared neck these look very pretty on display and look fabulous with other brightly coloured glass of the same period.  Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.

Offered for sale here is this fantastic steel blue vase designed by Ronald Stennett-Willson in 1960 for Lemington Glass (Newcastle).  This shape was also later produced by Wedgwood/Kings Lynn with a very slight alteration to the shape and in different colours.  This particular vase is rare and an early piece of Stennett-Willson design - a beautiful piece of retro art glass and a must for any admirer of Ronald Stennett-Willson's work.  Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.

Dating from the 1950s here is a gorgeous Barovier & Toso pink and gold flecked glass seashell.   In a wonderfully tactile shape, a warm shade of pink glass enhanced further with the inclusion of glittering gold flecks it's an extremely desirable and rare piece of Venetian glass.  With a flat polished (unsigned) base.  In my opinion, this is retro Murano glass at it's very best.  Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.
